Dr Chris Blackmore (PI): Chris has health and well-being as his primary area of interest and research expertise. Chris works within the Mental Health Research Unit, in the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) and currently serves as the Director of the MSc in Psychotherapy Studies. Chris has led a number of projects in the area of mental health.
Dr Dely Elliot (Co-I): Dely has led two research projects funded by the Adam Smith Research Foundation and the Economic and Social Research Council on the academic acculturation and doctoral experience of international students. Dely has published widely and presented at national and international conferences on this subject.
Sally Ohlsen (Research Assistant): Sally is an experienced researcher currently working in the Mental Health Research Unit, School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) within the University of Sheffield. Sally has expertise in qualitative research methods and has been involved in a range of research projects.
Dr Rob Daley (Project Advisor): Rob is an experienced academic developer and leads on supervisor development. He has contributed to the work of a wide range of national committees and working groups within the researcher development arena. Presently, Rob chairs the UKCGE working group on the Postgraduate Student Experience
Dr Kay Guccione (Project Advisor): Kay specialises in doctoral and academic development, specifically in mentoring and research supervision. She is the editor of the Supervising PhDs blog and has researched trust building as a marker of ‘quality’ doctoral supervisory relationships.
